Krups of course producing a wide variety of coffee makers, and they also produce a wide variety of coffee pots, or carafes. I can’t review all of them, so I’ve decided to take a look at 2 replacement coffee pots from Krups, one glass and one stainless steel. But before you buy one, make sure that it is compatible with your coffee maker. I will give a link to a variety of Krups coffee pots at the end.

First let’s look at a glass Krups coffee pot. This one is compatible with Krups models 201,212,321,192, and 369. It fits 10 cups of coffee, and should be the same as the carafe that was included with your coffee maker. Most consumers are happy with this coffee pot, but some report that the glass is too easily shattered.

Next is a stainless steel replacement carafe for the Krups FMF5 10 cup coffee maker. These are much more durable than glass coffee pots. The main problem with this replacement product is its price. It retails for $42.74 on Amazon, whereas an entirely new Krups FMF5 coffeemaker can be bought for under $100. Many customers feel cheated by this proportionately high price for the stainless steel coffee pot.
